Human Evolution Test

We will have our last test of the year on Human Evolution on Tuesday, June 10th, 2014 (Day 1). The test will be based on our notes and this 10 minute video on the evolution of coat colour in the rock pocket mouse.

You will get a bonus mark if you return your Bio textbook at the test.

Evolution Test

We will have our last test on Friday, April 25, 2014 (Day 6; Period 4). It will be based on our evolution notes and textbook sections 13.4, 13.5, 14.3, and 14.4.

Bio40S Presentations

Each student in Bio40S will be doing a presentation (5-7 minutes) for the class. The topic you choose may be from the list that we discussed in class, or one that you come up with on your own (as long as I okay it).

You should include at least 4 visuals, and you may also include a short (less than 1 minute) video. The presentations will begin on Tuesday, April 1st. (There will be a 10% deduction for each day late.)

We will have our Genetics unit test on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 (Day 4).
The test will be based on all notes, handouts, and textbook sections 9.1-9.8, 9.11-9.13, 9.16, 9.22-9.23.
